New Arrivals!

We got a few new arrivals this week! Come check out what’s new!

Yebisu ~ our yellow anaconda

She was on an extended vacation to visit her boyfriend during our move, but she’s back on display at the shop now! Yellow Anacondas are smaller then their cousins the Green Anaconda but they have all the beauty (and temperament) of their larger family members! We’re anxiously waiting for signs that her vacation will result in a clutch of babies in the near future, we’ll keep you posted!

“Candling” a duck egg

The incubator is set up and we are tending to several duck eggs! This picture shows both the “white” and the “yolk” of the egg – the dark part on the left is the baby starting to develop! These babies are scheduled to start hatching in about 3 weeks and the babies will be available for adoption! Candling demonstrations are available occasionally as well!

Hand Raised Baby Lovebirds

These stunning baby Lovebirds are available for adoption now! Lovebirds are an excellent choices for new and experience bird owners alike. They’re sturdy little members of the parrot family that are simple to care for and thoroughly enjoy the company of their people.

Hand Raised, Young Goffins Cockatoo

This little lovey is one of the smaller members of the Cockatoo family. She is in need of a loving, committed home with a more experienced bird owner. Great personality, but she needs a lot of attention.

Flame-bellied Armadillo Lizard

Have you seen our selection of reptiles lately? We’ve got some excellent critters in today including these two! Our selection changes daily so come down and see what’s new!
